Here we are safely installed in country. We had our first day with the kids this morning. Everything went very well! There is some fear locally about Americans bringing a virus, and fears have been heightened (other Americans have infected 2 kids and news has spread). Because of this fear, fewer kids than anticipated have joined the camps. Some parents believed that camp was canceled – so we hope to have increased enrollment tomorrow.
Please pray for increase in kids coming to camp – fears to be alleviated. Pray that God brings whom He would bring. Also pray for team health – there’s been some mild sickness spreading throughout the team.
Pray that we’d be unified and unwavering in our mission and focus.
