What an incredible first day. 6 months of planning came to fruition when we saw our first patient. We worked all day and treated 30 patients. Chad registered and triaged everyone, then Sean and I got vitals on them. Then the patient would see jeff or Melissa who would send them to faith and Meghan for medications. Finally cora would talk and pray with each one of them. I am beaming with pride for my team who worked so hard today to treat the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the villagers.
I do believe God is doing great things here in Uganda. today jeff was able to purchase $15,000 worth of medications in the states normally for only $300 here. Incredible
there is lots more work to do but we are off to a great start.
