Now that our first team has returned from Haiti, our goal is to send additional teams in the next couple of months, but we are prayerfully considering and diligently working on a long-term plan to be most effective in our relief efforts in Haiti.
We are coordinating with contacts on the ground in Haiti to see what types of teams and supplies they most need next, as well as the logistics of where the teams will stay and what the teams will be able to most effectively accomplish.
We understand there are many people who have a heart to go to Haiti and we want to balance that with the ever-changing needs of the Haitian people, the practical logistics of getting people/supplies into and out of Haiti, the ability to be most effective in Haiti when we are there and, most importantly, God’s timing.
